Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Real Earth Data, operated by Rubio & Berry (ABN 89 790 781 274). By using the site you agree to this AUP in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice.

1. Permitted use

Real Earth Data is provided for personal, educational, and non-commercial exploration of publicly available Earth science datasets. Voluntary donations ("tips") support ongoing development and confer no additional rights.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not, and must not permit any third party to:

• Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, deceptive, or infringing purpose;
• Upload, transmit, or link to malware, viruses, worms, or other harmful code;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, network, or data;
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service or circumvent security or authentication measures;
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks, including via denial-of-service, excessive automated requests, or resource exhaustion;
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data at a rate or scale that materially burdens the service, or in breach of a machine-readable directive (e.g. robots.txt);
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service, except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or its content without our written consent;
• Use the service to send spam, unsolicited communications, or chain messages;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
• Use the service to launder funds, evade taxes, or facilitate any prohibited or sanctioned transaction;
• Infringe any intellectual property, publicity, or privacy right of any person.

3. Content and data

Educational visualisations are derived from third-party scientific datasets and are provided for illustrative purposes only. You must not present the outputs as authoritative scientific advice, and you must comply with the licences of any underlying data source you reference.

4. Payments

Donations are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. You must not initiate a donation using stolen payment credentials, without authority to use the payment method, or with intent to charge back a legitimate transaction. See our Refund Policy for legitimate refund requests.

5. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse, security issues, or policy violations to murray@rubioberry.com. Please include enough detail for us to investigate.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and take any action we consider appropriate, including: warning you, removing content, throttling or blocking requests, suspending or terminating your access, reversing transactions, and reporting activity to law enforcement or other authorities. We are not required to give prior notice where doing so would prejudice an investigation, the safety of users, or the integrity of the service.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
